How to play Sudoku
Fill the grid so that every row, every column and every 3 × 3 box contains the numbers 1 to 9 exactly once. Some numbers are given at the start. Each puzzle has exactly one solution and can be solved by logic alone, without guessing.
- Tap a square, then tap a number. On a computer you can also type the number and move with the arrow keys.
- Turn on Notes to pencil in possible numbers in small print.
- Numbers that clash with another in the same row, column or box turn red.
- Hint fills in the selected square, or a random empty one, and adds 30 seconds to your time.

Every day at midnight UAE time. Everyone gets the same three puzzles.
Is my game saved?
Yes. Your progress on today’s puzzles is kept on your own phone or computer, so you can leave and come back. Nothing is sent to us.
Is it free?
Yes. Sudoku and every tool on this site are free, with no sign-up.
